Explore the world of early Bibles at the MOBiA!

The folks at St. Mark’s Library and Union Theological Seminary’s Burke Library are planning an adventure at the Museum of Biblical Arts (MOBiA) on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 2:00 2:30 pm. <———time change!

We hope you’ll join us for a personalized tour of the MOBiA’s new exhibition, A Light to the Nations: America’s Earliest Bibles, and learn how evangelism and printing history inform geographical exploration and territorial expansion during the era 1532-1864. Dr. Liana Lupas, curator of the Rare Bible Collection, will show us the exhibit and then we’ll have a chance to explore the museum on our own.

See the exhibit, mingle with our brothers and sisters from Union, and soak up some book history – all this for the low, low cost of $7. Please stop by and see reference librarian Mary Robison (or email to robison [at] gts.edu) to learn more and sign up for this exciting opportunity!
