We’re getting excited about the scheduled installation of our new Dean and President, the Very Rev. Kurt Dunkle, next Thursday evening, October 17. To celebrate this historic occasion (and also to show off some cool stuff from Special Collections), the Keller Library has put together an exhibit highlighting gifts to the collection throughout the years. Please do stop by and visit us when you’re here for the service!

Included in this exhibit are Charles C. Haight’s architectural renderings of the Chapel of the Good Shepherd, incunabula and 19th-century GTS publications given to us by Professors Emeriti Frederick Shriver and J. Robert Wright, respectively, plus some never-before-displayed realia, Egyptian funerary figurines (ushabti) from Dean Hoffman’s collection, along with the Dean’s personal communion set. Your reference librarian’s photographs don’t do this stuff justice – come on over and have a look yourself!
