Moving

Moving is apparently one of the most stressful events that can happen in a person’s life. So just imagine moving a library.

Although the construction in Seabury Hall is not quite finished, we started moving the staff offices today. It’s amazing how much stuff it takes to run a library. Our supplies alone fill around 75 boxes. That doesn’t include the individual staff supplies.

The new reading room will be beautiful! We have new lighting fixtures and natural light from both the north and south windows.

The stacks area in the bottom will be CHOCK full of books. There will be just enough room to maneuver a book truck through the aisles.

More moving tomorrow…
