There’s lots of excitement this semester as we work on getting folks off the Close and introduced to the many scholarly resources available here in New York for General Seminary students. Here’s one of the many opportunities available to you through the St. Mark’s Library:
Join us for a tour of the Research Division of the New York Public Library on Friday, October 15, 2010 at 10 am.
Tour “one of the world’s preeminent public resources for the study of human thought, action, and experience” – the Main Branch (Schwarzman Building) with the Rev. Dr. Warren Platt and learn about this amazing NYC resource, located at Fifth Avenue and 42nd Street. We will meet inside the Library’s Fifth Avenue entrance, in the Astor Lobby on Friday, October 15 at 10 am, and we’ll be back in time for lunch at the refectory. Please RSVP to robison@gts.edu to sign up for the tour, or visit the St. Mark’s Library to find out more about this event.
